Krytox food grade lubricants, oils and greases from Fluid Seals and Packings

Fluid Seals and Packings offers a range of DuPont Krytox lubricants, oils and greases that are ideal for food processing. Typical applications of these lubricants include:

  • Bakeries
  • Snack Food Manufacturing
  • Poultry Processing
  • Conveyors
  • Confectionery
  • Beverages
NSF H-1 compliance means the lubricants may be used on food processing equipment such as a protective antirust film, as a release agent on gaskets or seals of tank closures, and as a lubricant for machine parts and equipment in locations in which there is a potential exposure of the lubricated part to food. NSF is the body responsible for US food grade certification.

Features of the DuPont Krytox lubricants:

  • These lubricants are serviceable at continuous temperatures between –60° and 300° C
  • Lubricants are completely odourless and tasteless
  • Protect bearings and other components under all load and speed conditions
  • Multipurpose, high temperature and anti-corrosion grades
  • Lubricants are used for all equipment including bearings, valves, seals, o-rings, chains, compressors, gear boxes, mechanical pumps
  • Inert and silicone-free
  • The lubricants are non-toxic and will not carbonize or burn like hydrocarbon lubricants
  • Undamaged by and non-reactive with acidic or caustic cleaners and disinfectants, steam, moisture and high temperatures
