FLEXQUIP has released a range of radially crimped fittings to suit its hoses in the food and beverage markets in sizes 3/4" through to 3”.
All fittings are designed and manufactured in Australia from Gr 316L stainless steel, and are suitable replacements for presently imported fittings.
Hose assemblies can be manufactured to specific client specifications, as well as standard end configurations. Hoses can be ordered with the following ends:
* BSM - standard - male and female.
* BSM - CIP modified - male and female.
* Weld stubs.
* Specials - including integral bends and reducers.
Currently Flexquip exports more than 80 per cent of manufactured fittings, together with its purpose-built crimping machines.
It offers nose assemblies direct from the manufacturer using a purpose-built swager.
All assemblies are hydro-tested prior to shipment to the client. The company aims to supply hoses to the client within 48 hours of placement of order anywhere in Australia for its standard range of fittings.
The radially crimped fittings eliminate the problems associated with band-clamped fittings in that they are free from crevices where bacterial growth can be expected, and the greater gripping forces on the hose avoid fitting blow-off.
The sanitary design is the result of Flexquip’s compliance with the bio-pharmaceutical market and its rigid specifications
