With over 70 models of Hyundai Forklifts in production ranging from 1.5 ton up to 16 ton Flexilift Australia can now offer customers a much greater range of material handling equipment to suit the most demanding warehouse or materials handling application.
But its not just the fact that Hyundai makes many models to suit many applications – it’s the simple fact that Hyundai makes forklifts to last a long time in the harshest of conditions.
In just one example of just how tough Hyundai materials handling machinery can be, recently a Hyundai piece of equipment weighing 22 tons was on top of a trailer and heading east on Interstate 70 in Kansas, USA, when it decided to ram a bridge. The extended shovel arm was made of hardened refined steel and the approaching overpass bridge was made of commercial-grade concrete, reinforced with 1 1/2 inch steel bar spaced at 6 inch intervals in a criss-cross pattern layered at a 1 foot vertical spacing. After the collision, it was the concrete bridge that came out second best, with the Hyundai loader looking virtually unscathed.

And as Mr. Fisher points out, “In a time of economic stagnation, buying a forklift that is tougher than reinforced concrete makes sound economic sense”.
