Hyundai adds to heavy forklift range from Flexilift Australia

Hyundai Forklifts Australia has added four new heavy forklift models, available through Flexilift Australia, with load capacities between 11 tonnes and 16 tonnes to its growing range. Forklift models 110D-7E, 130D-7E, 140D-7E, 160D-7E now round up the range of Hyundai heavy forklift trucks in Australia, and offer the following features:

• Each model heavy forklift in this expanded range has a Cummins diesel engine, the QSB6.7, which provides 119 kW (162 hp) of power
• This six-cylinder engine meets Tier III emission standards and can take the truck up to a speed of 35km/h
• The heavy forklift also provides for a high climbing ability on rough terrain and slopes
• The driver can use a switch on the forklift to select one of two driving modes: in the ‘STP’ mode, the truck saves fuel during light work, while in ‘Power’ mode full power is available for heavy loads or work on difficult terrain
• The driver can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal, in turn saving fuel
• The new heavy forklift models offer a fully automatic transmission gently shifts through the gears and makes the forklift truck particularly maneuverable and comfortable to operate
• A spacious and well-ventilated cabin makes for a comfortable working place and combines fatigue-free work with high performance
• Combined with a powerful air-conditioning and heating system, ensuring a comfortable driver's seat and an ergonomic and bird's eye view of all of the controls
