Flexicon Corporation (Australia) have opened a new sales office in Sydney to better service the company's expanding business in New South Wales. The facility is equipped with sales management and administrative offices, a conference centre and a covered exterior entertainment area.
Addition of the Sydney sales office was timed to complement the expansion of manufacturing facilities at Brisbane, in which the company’s existing 1000sqm space was more than tripled by expanding into an adjacent 2200sqm plant, which is dedicated to increasing manufacturing and engineering capacity.
The Australian operation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Flexicon Corporation of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA, and produces full range of bulk handling equipment including flexible screw conveyors, pneumatic conveying systems, bulk bag unloaders, bulk bag conditioners, bulk bag fillers, manual dumping stations, weigh batching systems and custom-engineered plant-wide systems, as well as spares which are maintained in stock.
The Australian subsidiary handle sales, manufacturing and service throughout Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the South Pacific Rim, managing projects ranging from stand-alone equipment to custom-engineered, turnkey systems including commissioning, training and handover. Other Flexicon manufacturing sites are located in Bethlehem, PA, USA, Kent, England and Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
