Flexible Screw Conveyor

A Flexicon flexible screw conveyor can move virtually any bulk material and consists of a spring steel or stainless steel, flexible screw enclosed in a flexible or rigid plastic tube, or a rigid steel tube, driven by an electric motor normally located at the discharge end of the conveyor.

Features of the Flexible Screw Conveyor from Flexicon

Convey free flowing and non free flowing bulk solids ranging from large pellets to sub micron powders, including materials that can fluidise, degrade, pack, cake, smear, seize or plug in other conveyors with no separation of blended products.
Increase reliability and cut maintenance, because the only moving part contacting material is a rugged flexible screw.
Enclosed conveyor tube prevents contamination of product and plant environment.
Units convey vertically, horizontally, or at any angle through small openings in walls or ceilings around, over, or under obstructions.
Cleans quickly and easily.
Available in carbon steel, or stainless steel finished to industrial, food, dairy, or pharmaceutical standards.
Individual conveyors available as well as plant wide systems with automated controls.
