Since its launch at Interpack in May 2011, the new generation stainless steel conveyor from FlexLink Systems has achieved great sales success among the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
Already given the thumbs up by many major international companies, the order intake for these stainless steel conveyors has already exceeded the full year's targets by over 50%.
"The response from customers worldwide is very strong and we have now sold systems of the new generation stainless steel conveyors to the major, international groups within the fast moving consumer goods segment. In fact, we reached our full year targets on order intake only two months after the launch,” says Tommy Karlsson, product manager for the stainless steel conveyors at FlexLink.
The stainless steel conveyors sold thus far have been primarily for application in packaging lines within areas such as dairy products, packed and dry conserved food, and personal products. Interest has also gathered from industries that would not normally use stainless steel equipment but that require the features of easy cleaning and an open design.
Raising the bar for stainless steel conveyor systems, the new generation system has been developed to meet the increasing requirements on capacity, total efficiency, system re-usability and cleanliness. They are available in three widths (85mm, 180mm and 300mm) and are suitable for handling products in production and packaging lines within the FMCG and healthcare industry segments.
Designed to be robust, quiet, simple to assemble and easy to clean, these new stainless steel conveyors from FlexLink are a major contribution to efficiency of production in consumer goods filling and packaging lines.
"We have changed the industry metrics on how to build high quality conveyors that are easy to clean and with a modular design which is enhancing the flexibility of installed lines. The change from industry standards is substantial and the feedback from leading customers an immediately buy in," concludes Karlsson.
