The horizontally operating diverters are designed to distribute larger products like bags and packs of tissue, or similar products from one to several lanes. They are also available with two lane in-feed and then used to balance the flow from two packaging machines feeding several lanes. Products are gently held by choke belts and positively driven through the diverter given highest possible reliability.
The diverters operate according to FlexLink Systems ' dynamic flow concept and the distribution is made in a continuous motion flow. Each product is metered and the diverters create the best possible line balance down stream. The dynamic operation enables close positioning to machines to be fed.
Diverters are easily adjustable for different product dimensions. They are equipped with stand alone controls panel and fully enclosed. In addition, rotate units (‘star wheel’) and collating equipment are available to up-end the products and organise them in groups after the diverter.
