The Supply Division of FlexLink Systems has significantly reduced the lead time in the delivery of standard XT flexible plastic chain pallet conveyor assembly line modules to satisfy customer requirements.
With increasing customer demand for quicker delivery, FlexLink’s Supply Division has assessed the complete manufacturing process of their XT pallet conveyors and identified warehousing strategies, lean order, project handling as well as improved manual module assembly as the key segments to reduce lead time.
All XT pallet conveyor assembly line modules are assembled in the fully owned production and engineering centre in Poland.
Workflow efficiency through a well implemented quality system as well as improved productivity of the production and engineering team has become an important competitive advantage for FlexLink Systems.
Svante Anderholm, Chief Operational Officer says that FlexLink has a comprehensive innovation program in place in addition to a strong focus on maintenance and constant improvements of existing conveyor platforms.
Anderholm adds that the improvements are influenced by their customers and partners in addition to safety regulations and sustainability aspects.
