Formed in 1987, Flex Pack Service & Supplies manufactures filling machines able to fill most non-aerated liquid products into bags, drums and pails. The company’s automatic web filler with turbine or magnetic flowmeter model 800 fills fluids into flexible plastic bags.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, the 800 model uses stainless steel components. Weighing in at 320kg for the machine and 550kg with a case, the 800 model has a standard fill range between 2 - 20 litres.
Using a powered shuttle assembly, the 800 model draws bags from a carton and then directs them towards a guide rail system. The unit is able to fill the majority of liquids into non-rigid containers. The single head auto web filler has a filling speed of up to 18 x 4 litre bags per minute (contingent upon optimal conditions.)
Either a sanitary turbine or a high speed counter that is fed signals from a magnetic flowmeter enables batch control. A touch screen interface enables programming of timer, fill, cycle and batch settings.
The 800 model’s compatibility with clean in place systems means that the unit may be cleaned with either hot or cold liquid sterilants, or with low pressure steam.
The unit is suitable for fruit juices, wine, water, oils, milk products, chemicals, post mix syrups, purees, pastes and condiments.
