Firetail DAQ data acquisition products Australia, have announced the release of the USB-1208HS. The USB-1208HS is a multifunction, high-speed, measurement and control USB DAQ device supported under popular Microsoft Windows operating systems.
The USB-1208HS features eight single-ended or four differential 13-bit analogue inputs, with a sample rate of 1 MS/s. The input ranges available are ±10 V, ±5 V, ±2.5 V or 0 to10 V when in single-ended mode. In differential mode, the ranges are ±20 V, ±10 V, or ±5 V.
A digital trigger allows users to start analogue input or output conversions:
The USB-1208HS also includes 16 bit digital I/O, two 32-bit counters that can count TTL pulses, and one 32-bit PWM timer output. Two or Four high speed 12 bit analogue outputs can be added to the USB-1208HS’ array of features with the USB-1208HS-2AO and USB-1208HS-4AO options.
The USB-1208HS is powered by the +5 volt USB supply from the computer, and requires no external power. All I/O connections are made to the screw terminals located along each side of the device.
Software included with the USB-1208HS is extensive, including TracerDAQ, a full-featured, data logging, viewing, and analysis application; Universal Library, programming libraries and drivers for most popular Windows-based programming languages; Universal Library for LabVIEW, VIs and programme examples for LabVIEW; InstaCal installation, calibration, and test utility; and support for DASYLab, icon-based data acquisition, graphics, control, and analysis software and Measurement Studio MCC Edition, Visual Studio 2005/2003 components and controls optimised for test, measurement, analysis and presentation.
Better performance and exceptional value make the USB-1208HS an ideal choice for the data acquisition, test and measurement and control needs.
