The Flamex spark detection and extinguishing system detects and extinguishes a spark or burning ember in 300 milliseconds. This quick and rapid detection and suppression saves the dust filter upstream from destruction caused by fire. High speed infra red detectors quickly activate a suppression system that uses water, carbon dioxide or other extinguishing agent. This mechanism effectively protects the operating plant from fires and explosions.
FlamQuench II flameless explosion venting system is designed for use in combination with Fike explosion vents. The explosion venting extinguishes the flame from the vented explosion and does not allow it to exit the device. This helps in preventing secondary explosions.
