Filquip Pty Ltd  presents advanced solutions for long and complex transports with the TPA line of transporters from Air-Tec System.

The TPA line is suitable for transports of more than 500-metre length or with fragile and difficult products and with a capacity higher than 100 tons/h. TPA transporters incorporate advanced electronic components to enable more flexible application and better control of the transport cycle.

Designed to guarantee the integrity of the granular and powdery materials during transport, the TPA line also ensures a high level of efficiency. These transporters are suitable for conveying fragile and abrasive materials.

TPA vessels are certified according to PED (European Pressure Equipment Directive), and are available in carbon steel, AISI 304 and AISI 316 as well as for high temperatures up to 250º and for ATEX 21 and ATEX 22 settings.

How the system works

Air-Tec System’s technology allows the movement of powders and granules inside a pipeline. The pneumatic conveying system is completely closed with a few moving parts, resulting in reduced maintenance costs.

TPA vessels are available in three types depending on the chosen system of transport:

  • Conventional: TPA conventional transporters are suitable for moving fragile materials with the line of transport emptied after each loading
  • Full pipeline: TPA full pipeline transporters are used to move fragile and abrasive materials with the transport occurring within a full pipe, enabling air and energy savings
  • Full pipeline continuous: The use of two TPA full pipeline transporters connected between them renders possible a constant trajectory of the material inside of the pipe reducing the system’s loading time
The air intake through appropriate boosters ensures complete control of the material flow, which is essential for fragile goods. The low velocity preserves the quality of the transported material and also maintains the condition of the pipeline.

The TPA line of transporters is used for the pneumatic conveying of mixed glass powders at Saint Gobain Group, ceramic powder at Villeroy & Boch and PET at Levissima, Gruppo Nestle.
