Electric cylinders from Festo are designed for performance and versatile application range, and come in a choice of different models.
Ranging from the compact entry model through to the extensive midrange version and right up to the top-of-the-range model, Festo electric cylinders with spindle drive offer the ideal solution for all types of applications.
The EPCO, DNCE and ESBF models cover a broad performance range, have an extensive choice of accessories, come in protection classes IP40 or IP65 and are highly corrosion-resistant. The DNCE and ESBF are also suitable for use in the food industry with the NSF-H1 lubricant.
Festo’s EPCO electric cylinder is the entry level model featuring a recirculating ball spindle and designed for a wide variety of installation situations in simple factory automation applications that in the past used pneumatic solutions.
The DNCE model is available with a lead screw or a ball screw spindle. While the lead screw spindle offers advantages for applications with low feed speeds, the ball screw spindle demonstrates its strengths at high feed speeds and running performance.
Different motors such as EMMS-ST, EMMS-AS and MTR-DCI are available depending on the application. The electric cylinder DNCE delivers a maximum speed of 1.2 m/s, a stroke of up to 800mm and a maximum feed force of 2.5kN.
Festo’s ESBF electric cylinder offers even better performance and versatility with various motors and controllers allowing any desired positioning, a large number of travel profiles as well as defined speeds. ESBF electric cylinders can be used for almost any task across automotive, assembly and packaging technology applications as well as for clamping, gripping or cutting. With feed forces extending up to 17 kN, the ESBF model operates at speeds of up to 1.35 m/s and produces a maximum stroke of 1,500mm.
