Yokohama Tyre Australia presents the Y69 range of tyres featuring a distinct, smooth operating surface for maximum traction and manoeuvrability at container depots and airports.

Suitable for materials handling vehicles operating on paved surfaces found in container ports, airports, third party logistics warehouses and packaged food handling depots, the Y69 Series suits a large range of vehicles from straddle carriers for container handling through to tractors used for towing at airports.

All Yokohama Y69 tyres feature a large tread width and ground contact area for good traction on paved ground surfaces. The high performance of the tyres is largely attributed to its profile design and the way it works in sync with the smooth tyre surface.

Yokohama’s Y69 tyres are built to deliver a long lifespan, ensuring high productivity and ROI for the end user.

A unique wavy side profile with specific reinforcement using material such as ZSC or cable wire provides excellent sidewall cut resistance while the rubber compound used in the Y69 range provides good resistance to oily chemicals such as coal tar and also produces a highly uniform rolling pressure.

Feature highlights of the Y69 range also include extra-deep tread and reinforced sidewalls for a high level of resistance to damage and wear often caused by extended use in airport, container terminal and warehouse duties. The tyre also has a large tread width and ground contact area for good traction on paved ground surfaces.
