Leading Australian fleet services company Sargent has officially opened its full service branch in Moranbah, Queensland.

Located at 289 Goonyella Road, Sargent’s newly opened Moranbah branch will offer the company’s full range of vehicle rental and fleet maintenance solutions.

Sargent provides rental and maintenance of commercial vehicles to a wide range of customers throughout Australia. The company’s fleet of almost 3,400 vehicles comprises of 4WDs, 2WDs, trucks, buses and specialised vehicles, all available through a national network of company-owned branches and agencies.

According to Sargent chief executive officer Zac Zahner, the new full service branch completes the company’s reach in the important Bowen Basin region.

Sargent is very confident of the medium to long term economic prospects of the region and has invested accordingly to support their clients in the area. Mr Zahner adds that the full rental and fleet maintenance facility is providing new employment opportunities in the region as they continue to grow in the Bowen Basin.

Sargent is one of a panel of preferred suppliers for the six BMA mines in the surrounding Moranbah area.

Sargent Moranbah provides a range of services to clients in the region including vehicle rental, tyres, maintenance, windscreens, air-conditioning and inspection station services.

Sargent had completed its purchase of Dysart Engineering last year to expand its fleet offering to clients in the Bowen Basin. This complements its other locations in the region in Gladstone, Mackay and Blackwater.
