The first Pacific Additive Manufacturing Forum (PAMF) will be held in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane in June 2011.
Offering several advantages over traditional subtractive technologies, Additive Manufacture (AM), also referred to as 3D printing has an important role in a range of industries including aerospace, automotive, medical and defence.
The one-day PAMF event aims to bring together industry professionals, engineers, researchers as well as equipment and material suppliers to discuss the latest developments and trends in Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology. Leading international speakers and local industry players will be participating in the event.
Organised in partnership with the Defence Materials Technology Centre, the one-day Pacific Additive Manufacturing Forum will be held in Melbourne on 7 June to be followed by half-day presentations in Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane from 8 June to 15 June 2011.
