Fabrication, construction and services company AusGroup has win a contract for the overhaul and maintenance of Alcoa's calciner.
The $36 million contract is a three year and three month extension on its existing contract.
The work will be carried out by Ausgroup's subsidiary AGC Industries at Alcoa's Western Australian calciners at Kwinana, Pinjarra, and Wagerup refineries.
Initial scope of the work covers calciner overhaul maintenance services including refractory, access, and mechanical trade works as well as general calciner repair work.
