Router-clustering technology

FATPIPE Networks , has released router-clustering technology to provide fault-tolerant WAN connectivity for business continuity within the Australasian marketplace.

FatPipe products enable companies to obtain low cost, highly redundant and fast Internet/WAN access, allowing them to implement intranets, thin clients and virtual private networks (VPNs).

FatPipe devices aggregate any combination of multiple data lines including DSL, cable, wireless and E1 connections. They provide automatic line failover as well as increased speed of data transmission by bonding connections from multiple ISPs and/or backbones without the need for BGP programming.

The router-clustering devices are available in different throughputs to accommodate small to medium sized business (SME) and enterprise customers. They have a GUI-based configuration and can integrate with existing WAN networks without the need for BGP or any cooperation from the ISPs if using multiple ISPs for bandwidth aggregation. Web-based management tools allow remote monitoring. Step-by-step installation instructions provide trouble-free integration and management without the need for expert help. The systems match industry-standard 1U and 4U chassis.
