Premier Farnell, the global marketer and distributor of electronic components, MRO products and specialist services, has announced that it has signed a global franchise agreement with ZMD. Under the agreement, Premier Farnell will be the only European Catalogue distributor to offer ZMD’s range of sensors through its European and Asia-Pacific subsidiary, Farnell InOne. The mirror product range will also be available via North American subsidiary, Newark InOne.
According to Premier Farnell, ZMD are renowned for their high specification products that offer outstanding reliability at a competitive price to the industrial, commercial and medical markets. Now Premier Farnell will be able to offer these products to the global design engineer community through its multi-channel approach including the web and catalogue.
ZMD sensor signal conditioner ICs provide highly accurate amplification and sensor-specific correction of bridge sensor signals. The digital one-shot calibration enables highest precision of measurements, combined with a low calibration effort with respect to equipment and time.
ZMD's TSic family offers low-cost, calibrated, precision temperature sensor IC solutions to 0.05 °C accuracy and fast response times. Additionally, typical power consumption of 45 µA is among lowest in the industry, allowing for portable device design solutions.
According to ZMD, Premier Farnell’s ability to work across geographic and business boundaries to deliver the best service possible to customers and suppliers means that they are now able to reach out even further to the worldwide EDE market.
