Faraday Pty Ltd has introduced a new range of solid state RF amplifiers in its W series, designed to deliver high performance.

Key features in the W Series solid state RF amplifiers include linear Class A output power over the entire instantaneous frequency range, great harmonic rejection, and excellent gain flatness and noise figure as well as the ability to operate without fold back into poorly matched loads, which is critical in most Radiated Immunity applications.

Key benefits also include extreme energy-efficiency, lower acoustic noise than the competition or previous versions, smaller and lighter design allowing use in size-constrained areas, new easy-to-use touch screen panels and numerous control interfaces backed by industry leading service and support.

Model 250W1000B (250 Watts CW, 80-1000 MHz)

A portable, self-contained, air-cooled, broadband, completely solid state amplifier, Model 250W1000B is designed for applications that demand instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and linearity. Push-pull circuitry is utilised in all high power stages to lower distortion and improve stability. When used with a sweep generator, Model 250W1000B will provide a minimum of 250 watts of RF power.

Model 500W1000B (500 Watts CW, 80-1000 MHz)

A self-contained, air-cooled, broadband, completely solid state amplifier, Model 500W1000B is designed for applications that demand instantaneous bandwidth and high gain. Push-pull circuitry is utilised in all high power stages to lower distortion and improve stability. When used with an RF sweep generator, Model 500W1000B will provide a minimum of 500 watts of swept power.

Model 1000W1000E (1000 Watts, 80-1000 MHz)

A self-contained, air-cooled, broadband, completely solid state amplifier, Model 1000W1000E is designed for applications that demand instantaneous bandwidth and high gain. Push-pull circuitry is utilised in all high power stages to lower distortion and improve stability.
