Faraday  has introduced a new 50 Watt RF power amplifier module that includes built-in RF sensing transmit/receive switching. Model KMW2040M13 operates in the SATCOM band of 200 – 400 MHz and is the latest member of Faraday’s family of amplifier modules designed for the tough and most extreme military conditions.

An input power requirement of 2 – 6 watts makes the KMW2040M13 compatible with military radios of varying output power. Transmit switching is achieved in 40mSec with receive path losses of 0.7 dB. The new unit comes standard with a heat sink but can be ordered without for integration into an existing system.
