AR Modular RF have announced a five-year General Services Administration (GSA) contract to supply booster amplifiers for use with tactical military radios.
The GSA schedule contract, which represents AR Modular RF as a recognised supplier to the federal government, will make it easy for government agencies to purchase AR Modular RF equipment.
Under GSA contract GS-07F-0371U, AR Modular RF will provide a variety of rugged, waterproof, dependable, compact, battle-tested booster amplifiers along with accessories such as power cables and shock-mount kits.
AR Modular RF are suppliers of booster amplifiers for tactical military radios with a full line of amplifiers that cover broad frequency and wave forms. Each booster amplifier incorporates RF sensing circuits to switch from Receive to Transmit.
The RF sensing circuits include automatic level control, appropriate low pass harmonic or band pass filters and protection against antenna mismatch (VSWR) and overheating.
Several models of booster amplifiers have automatic band selection and are SINCGARS-compatible with high speed filter switching to protect other nearby communication networks.
The booster amplifiers are also fully compatible and manufacturer independent with radio transceiver systems operating in the frequency range of 30 to 512 MHz.
