The Cavitenna RF antenna from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a top-loaded monopole, designed to use the shielded room as a reverberating antenna, and the wall as the antenna's ground plane.

Model ATC25M1G accommodates extremely high power and corresponding field intensities, comparable to those of log-periodic antennas four times the size of the Cavitenna.

When used in fully automated test configurations, Cavitenna RF antennas offer several advantages.

Key advantages of Cavitenna RF antennas:

  • Value is realised over a wide frequency range in a mode tuned or mode stirred reverberation chamber
  • Can be mounted on a wall without protruding into the test volume
  • Compact design and high efficiency allow some reverberation chambers to extend their usefulness to lower frequencies
  • Backed by Competitive Edge warranty
