Fantech has announced that it now stocks Compact and Plantroom series energy recovery units, developed and manufactured in Brisbane by Air Design.

The Compact series of energy recovery units, as the name suggests, features four low profile products with a maximum height that ranges from 450 to 650mm, and air flow capacities from 200 to 900 L/s. These particular units are well suited for in-ceiling mounting.

Plantroom series energy recovery units offer larger capacities, with airflow capacities from 700 to 1,800 L/s and a configuration where one fan is on top of the other. These units are ideal for applications that require larger air flows.

Total energy transfer or sensible only energy transfer are available as heat exchange options for both ranges, with a variety of direct drive, single phase fans also available.

Compact and Plantroom series energy recovery units are a suitable option for environmentally conscious developers, as the polyurethane used in the panels does not contain hydro-fluorocarbons (HFCs) or hydro-chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) and global warming potential of zero.
