Fantech appoint Chris Ogilvy as their new Managing Director

Chris Ogilvy is the Managing Director of
Fantech and the Elta Group Asia Pacific. The Elta Group consists of 11 independent companies in three continents, providing quality
fans and related ventilation equipment to the global market. As Managing Director of the Elta Group Asia Pacific, Ogilvy will oversee and lead operations in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, and their exports to the entire Asia Pacific region.
Chris Ogilvy has been at the forefront of manufacturing for many years. He was the Managing Director of Placard, manufacturers of high security plastic cards and later Chief Executive of Note Printing Australia (NPA), where he oversaw significant operational changes to the pre-press area responsible for producing polymer banknotes for the Reserve Bank of Australia and other countries and the M Series ePassports for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. This led to international awards in 2005, 2006 and 2007 culminated with the NPA being inducted into the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame in May.
Chris Ogilvy has extensive background in marketing and business development. Holding a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and an MBA from the University of Melbourne, he has held many senior marketing and strategic planning roles in Australia and overseas in organisations including the NPA, National Australia Bank (NAB), ICI Australia and ICI Plc, based in the United Kingdom.
