Fanquip Air Curtains are designed to provide a high speed curtain of air in front of doorways and entrances. The air speed reduces proportionally to the distance from the fan outlet grill. Because Fanquip fans are belt driven, the airspeed can be increased, if desired, to meet the highest industry standards.
Fanquip Air Curtains has been designed to give increased performance and longer service life. A Centrifugal Barrel Type Fan Impeller is mounted directly above the outlet. This mounting position gives even stronger performance and coverage. The casing is fabricated from 2.5mm Mild Steel Plate with Aluminium "Eggcrate" inlet/outlet grilles. The blower wheel is pulley driven to ensure that the motor power is fully utilised. All fasteners and fixings are made of stainless steel. The inlet grill and the cover plate can be removed easily to ensure easy access for maintenance.
These air curtains are primarily used in food processors and storage industry. They emit a strong curtain of air in front of entrances to block insect entry. They are also used on walk-in refrigerators to stop cold air emission.
A number of options are available, including stainless steel or galvanised casings, IP56 Hose Proofing, 3Kw or 5.6Kw motors. A full range of spares are available at all times. Heater elements can be incorporated to deliver warm air.
