Lightweight, handheld hygiene monitor

FOSS Pacific has released a new luminometer for hygiene monitoring, the Uni-Lite NG from Biotrace International.

The luminometer is a lightweight (400g), handheld device, for use with Clean-Trace and Aqua-Trace, its ATP (adenosine triphosphate) based rapid hygiene monitoring tests. The instrument is aimed at a wide range of sectors including food and beverage manufacturing, water treatment, paper and pulp and healthcare establishments.

The Uni-Lite's software can be upgraded remotely allowing features to be added without the need to return the instrument. An internal calibration self-check device allows the user to run a check to ensure the instrument is still correctly calibrated.

Fully PC compatible.

It is fully PC compatible and is supplied with Biotrack+, the company's multilingual data trending software. Biotrack+ enables users to take full control of their hygiene management, from creating sample plans and setting pass/fail levels to using the data for management reports.

It also offers a re-test facility which allows users to retest a failed test point as many times as they wish, allowing all results to be recorded easily.

The instrument's accessory list includes a docking station, which offers instant connection to a PC and battery charging facilities. This removes the need to connect and reconnect leads each time the instrument is used.
