Three new FLIR i-Series thermal imaging cameras released by FLIR Systems Australia

The FLIR i-Series thermal imaging cameras
FLIR Systems Australia have released three new FLIR i-Series thermal imaging
cameras that inlcude the i40, i50 and i60 models. The i-Series cameras offer infrared diagnostic capabilities, making them suitable for commercial applications.
The i-Series cameras support electromechanical applications. These thermal imaging cameras can be used for accurate temperature measurement because of the adjustable emissivity feature built into them. The thermal sensitivity of these cameras is better than 0.1 degree centigrade. This ability to adjust for emissivity and reflectivity, evident in objects such as shiny metal, plastics, wood and many other industrial environments, provides for accuracy in temperature measurement.
The i-Series thermal imaging cameras incorporate several features including:
- Infrared detectors ranging from 120x120 to 180x180 pixels
- Built-in visual camera with up to 2.3 megapixel resolution
- FUSION scalable picture-in-picture capabilities
- 5-hour swappable Li-Ion battery
- Lightweight (600g) ergonomic design
This new camera series is designed by FLIR Systems Australia’s Thermography Division in Sweden and utilises their own infrared sensors.
