FLIR Systems Australia  introduces a new line of infrared cameras designed to offer greater choice for professional thermographers.

The new best-in-class T-Series cameras from FLIR include the T620/T640 cameras offering a high 307,200 (640x480) infrared pixel resolution and a host of new features at an industry-leading price.

The 640x480 advanced IR cameras are ideal for thermographers working in industrial, utility, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) as well as building diagnostics settings.

The T-Series range also includes the T335/365 and T425 cameras designed to offer high infrared resolution options up to 76,800 pixels (320x240) for increased accuracy over greater distances.

According to FLIR Systems Australia Managing Director, Roger Christiansz, the new FLIR T640/620 cameras give professional thermographers superior thermal resolution and sensitivity for excellent images and accurate temperature measurements.

FLIR is also leading the way by integrating the cameras to mobile devices such as iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch through Wi-Fi for greater convenience.

The Wi-Fi connectivity eliminates the need for thermographers to carry bulky laptops, cables or SD cards. The IR cameras use the new FLIRViewer App (available on the App Store) to import images from the camera, add more box areas and moveable spots as well as fine-tune images.

FLIRViewer also enables the user to generate comprehensive reports and share critical information immediately with decision-makers onsite or on email, boosting productivity and credibility.
