EzyStrut offers a range of steel and aluminium cable ladders designed for earth straps to be attached for greater safety.

Cable ladders are widely used in diverse heavy industrial installations such as mine sites, manufacturing facilities, or other sites dealing with large quantities of heavy and high voltage cables. Ladders manufactured from steel or aluminium are conductive, and often require appropriate grounding to meet personnel safety regulations. Grounding is also a safety requirement on a lot of large electrical installations, particularly when dealing with high voltage cables.

Earth straps, also offered by EzyStrut, provide a solution to connect ladders that may not otherwise be connected together to the main earthing system, delivering additional earth conductivity across splice and fitting joins.

EzyStrut’s steel Nema 2 (16A), Nema 3 (20B) and Nema 20C ladders as well as the entire range of aluminium ladders come with holes punched to allow earth straps to be installed. EzyStrut’s earth straps are compatible with these M10 holes in 35mm² or 70mm² options.
