Valley Windows uses Ezi-Duct’s dust extraction system

Dust extraction system

A large sawdust extraction system using smooth bore Ezi-Duct modular ducting was installed at Valley Windows in Morwell, Victoria. Valley Windows is a well known manufacturer of timber windows looking at upgrading its existing dust collector system.

The dust collector system being used had several individual bag units. Valley Windows was looking at future proofing its business with expansion in mind.

Therefore, the individual bag system dust collector being used was unsuitable. Australian Dust Control installed a reverse flow chain filter dust collector for this purpose.

The reverse flow dust collector is a modular system to which new modules can be added as the business grows.

The chain filter on the reverse flow dust collector by design, allows for extra modules to be added to the reverse flow dust collector.

Valley windows also chose to have the variable speed drive fitted. This special energy saving feature is unique to Australian Dust Control and can potentially reduce energy bills by 50%.

The turnkey project was carried out by Australian Dust Control who designed, engineered, installed and commissioned the system.

Australian Dust Control used Ezi-Duct galvanised steel modular ducting from 80mm diameter to 700mm diameter combined with all the ducting clamps, fittings, slide dampers, flexible ducting hanger etc need to complete the installation.

Australian Dust Control uses only good quality products in its projects. Ezi-Duct ducting provides good air flow of any duct on the market and was the natural choice as it has a smooth bore tube with pressed 90º bends.

Ezi-Duct  modular ducting was quick and easy to install. ADC’s installation crew was able to install the system in much less time saving costs.

The advantages for ADC’s client are long term because the Ezi-Duct ducting simply clamps together, the customer can easily pull the system down for cleaning or if a blockage occurs.

Ezi-Duct manufactures its ducting in Australia from Australian steel and supplies a huge range of ducting and ducting clamps, in galvanised, stainless steel and mild steel.
