Ezi-Duct installed an energy-efficient dust collection system at Lambert Kitchens, a manufacturer of top quality kitchens on NSW’s South Coast.
Lambert Kitchens approached Ezi-Duct for a new dust collection system to be installed at their Unanderra factory. Several machines connected to the system including a CNC point to point router and a large CNC edge bander.
Ezi-Duct installed a Polex MDC24000S self-cleaning dust collector along with modular flexible ducting and a rotary valve. The new dust collector provides suction upwards of 24000 m³/h @ 3000 pa and the waste is directly dumped into a 3m³ bin, saving the client significantly on labour costs as there is no need to switch the unit off when emptying the bin while also minimising the labour component.
A Polex variable speed drive controller or VSD supplied with the unit comes with a pressure transducer to sense and automatically turn down the fan motor’s power consumption when one or more of the machines are not in use, resulting in big savings on power consumption.
Lambert Kitchens is satisfied with the performance of the dust collection system and the service received from Ezi-Duct and Polex Environmental Engineering.
Ezi-Duct is Australia’s leading supplier of dust collection systems comprising of dust collectors, modular ducting, flexible ducting, fume arms, fans and spray booths among others, all available through a network of branches in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
