A flexible thermoplastic rubber ducting with high exposure resistance has been released by ducting specialist Eximo.
ExFlex, a ducting made of lightweight and flexible thermoplastic rather coated polyester fabric, is applicable for the suction of exhaust fumes, chemical fumes and gases, even under mechanical influence.
ExFlex is also an ideal replacement for worn sections of expensive hose reels used in automotive workshops in the removal of exhaust fumes. Fully crush recoverable, ExFlex is given its high strength through a polyamide Helix and a functional long-lasting wear strip.
ExFlex has good chemical resistance to fumes of acids and solvents and is UV and ozone resistant. Rot proofed, the product withstands severe flexing is compatible with over floor real systems.
Black in colour, ExFlex has a 0.4mm wall thickness and a temperature resistance range starting from as low as -40°C up to +150°C.
Maximum weight is 5 kg/m, ExFlex’s bend radius ranges from 0.41mm to 1.44mm, maximum work pressure bar ranges between 85 and 300, and the maximum vacuum bar is between 0.5 down to 0.06.
