AUSPACK 2007 exhibition for the food, beverage and packaging industries

From the 1st - 4th of May 2007 the Melbourne Exhibition Centre will be jam-packed with over 200 exhibitors showcasing innovative and world-class packaging and processing machinery.

With over 90% of the space already booked, AUSPACK is shaping up to be the premier exhibition for the food, beverage and packaging industries in Australia for 2007.

According the organisers Exhibitions and Trade Fairs (ETF), exhibitors are diverse that visitors can see everything from innovative plastic solutions, automation and robotics, conveyors and production line technologies, packaging equipment, retail solutions, shelf ready and outer case products, labelling and product identification equipment, through to processing solutions.

AUSPACK has long been recognised as the key marketing and networking event for the industry; where once every two years all of the players in the packaging and processing industries come together under one roof for four days. Exhibitors and visitors alike are all looking to connect with the right decision makers and buyers during AUSPACK.

The range of exhibitors to meet over the fours days is quite overwhelming and it usually takes visitors days to really see everything and to speak with the many specialised and technical personnel on the exhibition stands. Many of the exhibitors will also have visiting international experts available during the show to help visitors understand their solutions. Thus AUSPACK 2007 exhibitors sum it up.

According to MPI Australia, who have been involved with AUSPACK from its inception, it remains the only show dedicated to packaging machinery.

AUSPACK allows MPI Australia to highlight new advances in its machine range and talk to its customers, all at the same time and place. AUSPACK gets the message out into the market place and gives customers a hands on experience, this is impossible to do with print and electronic media.

In 2007 MPI will be introducing the new range of Safeline Profile triple frequency and unique change free running mode metal detectors and X-Ray machines.

According to HBM Packaging Technologies, they have confirmed their participation at AUSPACK 2007, where they will be demonstrating the wide range of machinery and services available from their many packaging partners worldwide.

On display will be an OCME Altair N40 Wraparound Case Packer (40 cases/minute), as well as a Multi-Fill automatic filling machine; complete with 3 lane distribution system, typically used on prepared meals lines.

HBM offer single machines or turnkey lines for the Food and Beverage industries, including fillers, labellers, cappers, shrink wrappers, case packers, cartoners, pouch fillers, palletisers and depalletisers.

If one is looking to learn about global trends and emerging technologies in the industry or trying to solve a packaging or processing problem then AUSPACK 2007 will provide the answers.

AUSPACK is owned and presented by the Australian Packaging Machinery Association (APMA) and organised by Exhibitions and Trade Fairs .
