The new version of Exact Online bookkeeping solution by Exact Software integrates a scanning facility to eliminate time wasted on manual invoice entry.
In addition to increasing productivity by keeping the business’ accounting up-to-date, the new Exact Online bookkeeping software also offers the user an alternative to entering invoices manually with the integration of a scanning service.
Exact Online allows users to upload invoices received from suppliers in hard copy or as PDF files to the scanning utility directly. The user will subsequently receive the electronic invoice in their mailbox. With just two clicks, the invoices will be entered and archived in the user’s accounting record.
In addition to purchase invoices, Exact’s scanning service supports the conversion of bank statements on paper or as PDF files into an MT940 file that can be imported into the bank module. This is an extra service complementary to the automatic bank links that already exist with some banks (ABN-AMRO, Bizner and Rabobank) and the manual import of bank files that have been exported from the user’s online banking facility.
