The Exact Asia Development Centre (ADC) received the MSC Appreciation Award at the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2010) in Amsterdam.
The award was granted by the Malaysian Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and serves as recognition and appreciation of Exact's presence as well as investment in current and upcoming information technology projects in MSC Malaysia.
The award also recognises Exact’s contribution to the IT industry in Malaysia.
Marcel van de Sandt, Product Management Director at Exact accepted the award: “We are proud to again be honoured by MDeC. After receiving the MSC Leadership Award in 2006, today’s award is an affirmation that our research and development activities in Malaysia are best of class; skilled employees providing tailored solutions to our customers giving them the freedom and control to run their businesses. The award is a testament to Exact’s pioneering days when our R&D activities were outsourced to Malaysia. Congratulations to all colleagues at ADC on achieving this award.”
Among the guests at the Malaysian pavilion was the Malaysian Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Seri Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili.
MDeC directs and oversees Malaysia’s national initiative, the MSC Malaysia (formerly known as the Multimedia Super Corridor in Malaysia).
MDeC is the motor behind Malaysia’s ambition of becoming the preferred location for ITT and multimedia innovations, operations and services.
