Evcco HFT safety and environmental conduits made from recycled polymer are being introduced to New Zealand by the plastics manufacturer, Marley New Zealand.
The Evcco range from Alabtech Pty Ltd - for which Marley has become exclusive national distributor – offers environmental benefits and improved safety over other types of conduit.
The conduits are high performance and responds to industry calls for above and in-ground products offering low carbon footprints and minimal green house gas emissions. The conduits also retain the polymer’s inherent characteristics of light weight and high impact resistance.
Evcco HFT is halogen free and flame retardant conduit that is used to carry electrical and data cabling in surface and in-ground applications. The HFT conduits can also be used in aspirated smoke detection and air sampling systems deployed for protection against smoke and toxicity.
The use of recycled polymer is particularly aimed at architects, engineers and project specifiers seeking to achieve high environmental star ratings for industrial and commercial projects.
The conduits are available in sizes ranging from 20 to 150 mm and are supported with a comprehensive range of adaptors, elbows, junction boxes, tees and bends.
Although aimed at new commercial buildings the Evcco range can improve industrial risk management in applications ranging from infrastructure, factories, mineral processing, gas processing, petroleum, coal washing, and food and primary product processing plants.
The Evcco range of conduits are available in medium and heavy duty options and in grey, black, orange and white colours.
The conduits feature U.V. protection as standard and can be offered with FRAS performance where fire-resistant, anti-static properties may be specified, such as in data installations.
