ConPower P150 - series SL circular connector range from Erntec

SL class circular connector range

The power supply of 3-phase electrical drives, machines and plants is done more and more by using connectors.

The cause for this trend is the increasing desire for a flexible handling of equipment connections for transmitting capacities up to 150A at 630V AC/DC.

With the product family, ConPower P150 - series SL, Coninvers has expanded its circular connector product programme by the power class M58 with metric screw locking for the cable connector and the cable connector receptacle, available with the usual pin assignments 6-position and 8-position. ConPower P150 - series SL circular connector range is available from Erntec.

As known from all Coninvers power circular connectors, the characteristic of the ConPower P150 connectors is that contacts are clipped in sideways.
 
This can be performed safe and fast. For power contacts, the termination of the contact socket and connector is done using a pneumatic crimping plier for stranded wire cross sections of 10mm² up to 50mm². The cable clamping range is specified for cable diameters of 17mm up to 36mm.

A particular property is an elegant and quick shield area. Depending on the cable or the braided shield type, it is possibly not necessary to un-slice the shield. In particular when using stiff wires up to a diameter of 50mm², this makes work considerably easier and saves time.

Incidentally, the ConPower P150 - series SL circular connectors fulfil the standard requirements regarding protection class IP67 and over voltage category III as well as contamination class III when locked.
