An optional number of one to six LEDs, which are available in various quality, colours and combinations of colours, are integrated in the housing.
The components combine the advantages of SMD technology, e.g. a space saving placement of the elements, with the usage of advanced THT technology in a suitable way.
The development of the components was arranged to suit customer demands, to realise instrumentation solutions with multi-series installations, that would lead to significant reduction of operation costs.
Their lean construction forms of only 4.9mm, 9.9mm or 14.9mm respectively facilitate a rapid stringing together of the components making them into LED-arrays and display series and are suitable for the usage in the field of front panels as well as for the employment in printed circuit boards.
Thus the user is offered extensive possibilities of displaying switching status as well as optimal adjustment to the nature of his individual task. Soldering surface strength is taken into account with a connection length of 1mm.
Form and configuration of the connections facilitates an optimal inspection of the soldering spots. By means of delivery in carrier tape the components are suitable for a fully automated assembly.
Depending on the particular case of application and the available assembly system, the engineer may choose between a design without and one with an additive soldering spot. A plastic fixing pin is optionally available instead of the front soldering support area.
