These polyurethane floor coatings can be applied with a roller or brush and are suitable for use on a range of timber and concrete substrates.
There are two types of polyurethane floor coatings available from ERA Polymers, Eracoat and Eraseal.
The Eracoat range includes solvent based MDI, TDI and Aliphatic (non yellowing) top coat timber finishes. These coatings are ideal for use on interior timber, parquetry and cork flooring and produce a highly resistant and durable protective film. Gloss or satin high build finishes are available in the Eracoat range.
Eraseal is a clear solvent based floor coating that is quick drying and can be easily sanded, This floor coating has outstanding adhesion to all timber species and is formulated for applications as a thin first coat under all Eracoat coatings. This solvent based floor coating provides an excellent block to resin exudation problems in oily timbers such as Brushbox, Tallowwood and Spotted Gum. Eraseal floor coating also acts as an efficient isolator to wax extraction problems that can occur with particle board, and minimises the darkening of timber usually associated with solvent based coatings.
