filtration. These pool sand filters are designed to provide optimal tank strength and filtration performance.
Constructed from strong corrosion and U.V. resistant polyester reinforced fibre glass, they can provide a long and reliable working life. A 6-way multiport valve offers easy backwash and filter control at the flick of a handle.
The 6-way multiport valve offers easy backwash and filter control at the flick of a handle. The built-in waste port sight glass gives better visibility during backwashing. Higher media capacity reduces frequent backwashing and saves water. Stainless steel oil filled pressure gauges make it easy to see when backwashing is required.
A.B.S. barrel unions with specially designed laterals and hub assembly ensure maximum performance. The laterals and hub assembly produce cleaner sand and clearer water. A large diameter tank offers maximum filtration area.
Automatic air bleeds of the pool sand filters prevent the build up of air in the tank and ensure effective filtration. A high rate design gives maximum efficiency, suitable for sand, Zelbrite and silica media.
