Solar Systems implements Vantage ERP software from Epicor Software



Solar power station

Solar Systems has implemented the Vantage ERP software available from Epicor Software for concentration of solar power into high efficiency photovoltaic cells used in solar power stations. Solar Systems delivers products that generate electricity in a way that is cheaper and more efficient than conventional photovoltaic sources.

Solar Systems produce 100% renewable greenhouse-free energy to augment conventional power stations. The Vantage ERP software provides various functionalities such as Service Connect, Portal, Information Worker, project functionality and workflow customisation.

The Vantage ERP software will form a key part of Solar Systems’ IT strategy along with Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server.

Recently, Solar Systems announced a 154MW heliostat solar concentrator power station in northern Victoria. The A$420 million project will generate 270,000MW per year, enough for more than 45,000 homes. It will also aid in reducing salinity and create jobs during manufacture, construction and operation.
