EPICOR 's ePortal 7.2 and the introduction of the new Supplier Content Pack, extends the power of Epicor's integrated end-to-end enterprise, eBusiness and collaborative commerce suite, 'e by Epicor', by enabling midmarket enterprises to strengthen supplier relationships through enhanced visibility across the supply chain.

Epicor ePortal is an interactive web-based solution that provides customers and suppliers the ability to view critical business data virtually anytime, anywhere, through a browser.

It accesses information within the enterprise, such as order status, payment records and support calls, and from external sources like industry highlights, news and weather services, all from a single personalised page.

Epicor ePortal's new Supplier Content Pack provides companies and their suppliers with a 360-degree view of the supply chain from purchase order to payment.

The pack is one of the first supplier portals designed specifically for the midmarket that fits into an integrated enterprise software solution.

Just like ePortal for customers, ePortal for suppliers provides internet access to all purchasing and payment information and activity through a personalised web interface, but tailored to the needs of the supplier.

Tight integration between ePortal and e by Epicor's front and back office applications enables suppliers to view the current status of purchase orders, invoices, credit memos, returns and payments online.

In addition to viewing current information, suppliers will also be able to view the history of the different types of data. For example, payment history for the past year will be available to suppliers, viewable in both summary and detailed formats.

Suppliers will find Epicor ePortal easy to use as a result of several new interface features. Search and data filtering capabilities make navigation through Epicor ePortal quick and easy.

Vendors can sort columns of reports to arrange the information in the format they prefer and they can export data to Microsoft Excel for their own records.
