Enware Australia has partnered with leading Swedish brand IFO to supply toilets for the disability segment.
Enware has entered into several global partnerships with world-leading brands to launch a series of products in the Australian marketplace. The company’s alliance with IFO, the leading supplier of sanitaryware and kitchen sinks in the Nordic market resulted in the launch of the IFO disabled toilet with support arms in the Australian market in 2007.
Designed and manufactured in Sweden, the IFO toilets cater for people with movement restriction resulting from disability, old age or injury. The combination toilet and support arms suit independent users while also enabling carers to be positioned on either side to assist the user. Over 1,200 units have been installed in Australia since the product’s launch in 2007.
Key benefits of the IFO toilets include a load rate of 400kg for the toilet pan; WELS 4 star rating (4.5/3L flush); wheelchair transfers possible due to the arms independently raising and the seat featuring stability buffers; support arms made from aluminium to resist rust or corrosion; optional electronic nurse call button; toilet roll holder on each arm; and Anthracite Grey colour Dania seat to assist people with dementia (weight loading 250kg).
IFO disabled toilets have been tested to comply with 90% of AU commonly used commode chairs and are fully glazed on the back and inside rim to avoid bacterial growth.
Enware offers a wide range of bathroom solutions and living systems designed to help users preserve their independence and dignity.
