ENVIZAGE and their partner CAD Classroom have announced an end of financial year special offer for their Autodesk Inventor 2010 training course. The discounted price includes the course, the manual and lunch, and the training is planned to be held on 16th July 2009, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
The Autodesk Inventor 2010 training course is called "New Stuff!" and covers all the features of the advanced version of this 3D CAD software package.
Autodesk Inventor 2010 was released in 2009 and is a significant improvement over Autodesk Inventor 2009.
The trainer is Autodesk accredited Glenn Barrett. Glenn has been involved in Engineering and Architecture for over 30 years and in CAD for over 20 years. He has managed some of the largest CAD sites in Australia, which includes companies with more than 120 Autodesk AutoCAD users. He has been involved with the management and/or set up of in excess of 100 Engineering and Architectural CAD based companies throughout Australasia. Glenn is an Autodesk "Certified Trainer" and so carries the highest recognised training skill levels by Autodesk.
Trainees must have understanding of Autodesk Inventor 2008 or 2009 to qualify for this 3D CAD session.
After completing this course the graduates will be able to:
- Navigate the user interface to access tools, information, and files and to view the design geometry.
- Create designs following a top down design flow using sketch layout, sketch blocks and multi-body parts.
- Add specific types of features to parts that are common in plastic and cast parts.
- Create sheet metal parts with rolls, lofted flanges and rips while also utilising the different enhancements for sheet metal parts.
- Describe the enhancements to sketching and modelling including iFeatures, material units, model parameters, splines and user coordinate systems.
- Describe the enhancements associated with assembly modelling including component restructure, use of folders, shrink wrapping an assembly, generating content using Design Accelerator tools, as well as various tools to help create, manipulate and review assembly designs.
- Explain the installation methods for Content Centre, copy and modify content, and insert content into the trainee’s design.
