The TA10 Series Air Temperature sensors from Environdata are electronic devices which are designed to measure air temperature. Two sensors can be used to measure air temperature and relative humidity using the wet and dry bulb method.
The design of the TA10 Series Air Temperature sensors ensures fast, accurate measurements with an accuracy of ± 0.2°C over the appropriate range.
The sensing element consists of a semi-conductor integrated circuit which provides an output voltage proportional to the ambient temperature. Because of the high internal gain of the integrated circuit, the relationship between temperature and output voltage is very linear.
For air temperature and/or humidity readings using the wet/dry bulb method, Environdata recommend that the wet and dry bulb sensors are located inside a mini-temperature screen. This screen should preferably be located underneath the logger.
