Lubevent prevents bearing overheating

Supplier News

ENGINEERING Design & Systems Pty Ltd (EDSI) has recently introduced a cost effective solution to the age-old problem of bearing overheating and failure due to over-greasing, the ‘Lubevent’.

The Lubevent block was designed by a lubrication service engineer who was tired of guessing how much grease was actually in a bearing housing.

He wanted to ensure the cavity always contained the correct amount of grease and make his life easier.

Lubevent eliminates the need for bearing seal purge with the associated risk of contamination ingress, waste of lubricant, environmental pollution.

Lubevent can be retrofit to all existing housings and requires no rework.

According to EDSI, by using Lubevent, maintenance costs will decrease and productivity will increase.

Pumps, motors, pillow blocks, fans, gears and turbines are dramatically more reliable and collateral damage to associated machinery components is avoided when Lubevent is used.
