The 700 bar EBB 400 (45kN) and EBB 180 (140kN) bead breakers are designed for heavy vehicles and implements used in the construction, civil engineering, farming, heavy industrial, mining, primary industry, quarrying and transport industries.
In addition to saving time during routine workshop maintenance and on-site repair operations, Enerpac says the beadbreakers protect staff and machinery by dispensing with heavy, clumsy, labour-intensive equipment and replacing it with precisely applied high force from easily handled tools.
Weighing 13kg, the EBB 400 Combi bead breaker handles two and three-piece, 2-5-10 hole budd, 7.50X16's and all tubeless truck and farm tyres and rims.
Simple to operate without screws, bolts or attachments, the breaker assembly clamps hydraulically to all rims in seconds and breaks beads precisely with up to 45kN of force.
The EBB180 giant tyre/earth mover bead breaker, weighing just 9kg, is designed for use on off-road vehicles using five-piece rims of 25-51” with pry bar head loosening pockets.
Its 140kN hydraulic cylinder has a long, 100mm, stroke for tough-to-break tyre beads.
Both new bead breakers are compatible with some of Enerpac's most commonly used Enerpac pumps throughout Australia and New Zealand, including the PATG 1102-N air/hydraulic pump, PUJ 1200E electric/hydraulic pump, and P-932 hand pump, all with HC series hoses.
Both bead breakers will be shown at Aimex 2003 on stand 4326 being held at Sydney Showgrounds from September 9-12.
