A high-force tools specialist with 15 years experience in industrial engineering, sales and service, Mr Pat Molloy, has been appointed National Bolting Manager for Enerpac to lead its drive to Australasian leadership in professional bolting technologies.

Mr Molloy will work with a team of Enerpac Territory Managers throughout Australia and New Zealand supporting the combined Enerpac and Hydratight organizations' focus on industries such as construction, engineering, infrastructure, electrical, manufacturing, maintenance, mining, pipeline, power generation, oil and gas, transport and utilities.

"Pat Molloy will be a spearhead of the Australasian professional bolting drive of the combined Enerpac and Hydratight organistions working in partnership", says Anders Mangen, Business Unit Manager of the Australasian operations of Enerpac. "His extensive experience within Enerpac - and previously with a global leader in automotive and industrial tools - will be invaluable in assisting customers with the technical and practical knowledge required for efficiency and safety initiatives becoming widespread as industry dispenses with inefficient, archaic and sometimes hazardous manual bolting techniques.

"He will be backed in the field by an Enerpac and Hydratight partnership that builds on Enerpac's 50 years of high-force hydraulic leadership in Australasia, expanding our capabilities with global leadership in bolting technology and applications expertise backed by the powerhouse global Actuant organisation operating in 30 countries with sales exceeding $A1000 million.

Simultaneously with Enerpac's merger with the Hedley Purvis Group and Hydratight Sweeny (now called Hydratight) Enerpac introduced a new generation of professional bolting technology, outlined in its new E325a catalogue. This includes state-of-the-art steel and aluminium torque wrench and tensioner systems, new generation pumps and valving for efficiency and safety, as well as a total spectrum of complementary labour-saving bolting tools.

Pat Molloy says this array of technology, coupled with Hydratight's applications expertise, gives an enormous boost in the total bolting solutions that can be delivered through Enerpac in Australia and New Zealand, where these capabilities are backed on-site through a strongly established network of Territory Managers, Service Centres, Distribution Channels and technical backup resources established by Enerpac for 50 years.
